Fashion on Yonge
Long time, no blog. These last 10 days since I left home and moved to Toronto have been an absolute blur, but such an exciting one at that. I've settled in my dorm room, felt my way around my new surroundings, met some great people and made some amazing new friends. I've even started my classes (real school happens here, too) and although I have piles of reading and homework to do, this is practically school work... at least it's school related. Tonight we went to a fashion event called "Fashion on Yonge" which you can find out more about here. It was a series of fashion shows right in Trinity Square, behind the Eaton Centre. I attended the show with a few of my new friends who are also in my same program (see above!). This outfit was basically just re-invented from what I wore to class today, by throwing on a black felt floppy hat, classic black heels and a leather tank to my casual boyfriend jeans to dress it up a bit! I hope you enjoy my first city blog post, and I will try to find more time to keep on top of my posts!
